At Book Online Taxi, we understand that travel plans may change. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy is designed to be simple and transparent for all bookings made through our website bookonlinetaxi.com, or via phone/WhatsApp.
1. Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation charges depend on when the request is made:

|---|---|
| More than 24 hours before pickup | Full refund of advance paid |
| 12–24 hours before pickup | 50% of advance amount deducted |
| Less than 12 hours before pickup | No refund of advance amount |
| Driver already dispatched or reached pickup location | No refund & full trip amount may apply |
Note: Cancellation refund applies only on advance amount paid by customer.
2. No-Show Policy
If the customer fails to show up at the pickup point without prior cancellation:
- No refund will be provided
- Driver waiting charges may apply
3. Last-Minute Changes
Any change in pickup time, location, or route is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply if:
- Route distance increases significantly
- Waiting time exceeds allowed limit
- Taxi type is changed
4. Cancellation by Company
A booking may be cancelled due to:
- Vehicle breakdown
- Driver availability issues
- Natural calamities, strikes, or government restrictions
- Safety concerns
In such cases:
✔ Full refund of advance shall be processed
✔ We may offer an alternate cab based on availability
5. Refund Process
- Refund is initiated to the original payment method
- Processing time: 3–7 working days
- Extra bank/payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable
Please note that cash payments cannot be refunded online.
